MULHOLLAND TREATS STAFF TO CHRISTMAS PICTURE HOUSE VISIT

Greg Mulholland, MP for Leeds North West, treated his staff to a surprise visit at the Hyde Park Picture House today. Greg and his team were given a backstage tour of the historic cinema, including the cinema's reel to reel projectors.

Greg said

"The Hyde Park Picture House is a fantastic venue and it is wonderful the way it has been preserved.

"It was fascinating to go into the projection room and see how it all works, and I know that my staff and I very much enjoyed the opportunity to go behind the scenes.

"I am very grateful to the cinema staff for giving us a great tour; I hope that the cinema will be operating for many more years to come."
