Leeds MP, Greg Mulholland, has slammed reports that families of servicemen killed in Iraq have had to pay as much as £600 for documents used at the inquests into their deaths.
Commenting Greg said:
"It is outrageous that bereaved families are being forced to pay considerable sums of money simply to find out what happened to their loved ones.
"These men and women have been killed in the service of their country, the least the Government and the military can do is give their families access to these documents without having to pay for them.
"The Government and MoD need to re-examine this highly unfair and unjust policy".
