"A JOY" TO WELCOME MIRZA TAHIR HUSSAIN BACK TO BRITAIN - MULHOLLAND

Welcoming Mirza Tahir Hussain's return to Britain, Greg Mulholland, his local MP said:

"It was amazing to be there to welcome Mirza Tahir Hussain back into the country.

"Once again I would like to pay tribute to Amjad for the extraordinary way he has led the campaign with courage, dignity and unfailing hope even at times of seeming despair. This wonderful day is a result of his efforts.

"Finally meeting his brother again, was the moment that Amjad and his family had waited for for so long.

"Considering his ordeal, Tahir looked amazing. It was a joy to finally see him back on British soil."

Upon meeting Mirza Tahir Hussain, Mr Mulholland joked:

"I have never been so glad to meet a new constituent."
