LEEDS UNI FAIRTRADE STATUS WINS PRAISE IN PARLIAMENT

Greg Mulholland, MP for Leeds North West, has laid a motion in Parliament congratulating the University of Leeds on achieving Fairtrade status.

Greg attended the celebrations at the University this week, at which the Vice Chancellor Professor Michael Arthur was also present.

"This is a fantastic achievement with Fairtrade goods playing an important role in improving the lives of producers in developing countries."
