GOVERNMENT MUST ADMIT WHAT IT KNOWS ABOUT TORTURE FLIGHTS

Local MP Greg Mulholland, has today renewed his call for the Government to reveal what they knew about secret rendition 'torture' flights operating in the UK. This follows Mr Mulholland's requests last year for the Government to hold a full public inquiry.

Commenting Mr Mulholland said:

"The Government is now compelled to come clean and reveal what they knew about these so called torture flights."

Commenting on his previous calls on the Government to hold a public inquiry Greg said:

"There is now an even greater body of evidence to support a full public inquiry."
