Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West praised Leeds Hospital alert at a celebration to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the NHS.
Leeds Hospital Alert are a group of Leeds residents, who have come together to defend our national Health Service and its principle that care should be free and accessible to everyone regardless of income or status.
Leeds Hospital Alert has been campaigning for the NHS in Leeds for many years. It is accepted by Leeds health policy-makers and by the media as an independent organisation with an extensive knowledge of health issues in Leeds
Greg who attended the event said "Leeds Hospital alert do a really valuable service and work hard to protect local NHS services. On the 60th anniversary of the NHS it is vital that we remember the work done by groups such as Leeds Hospital Alert have done to protect and work towards improving our NHS."
