Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West will hold two special advice surgeries in September 2008. Greg, who in addition to his seven monthly surgeries has previously held special surgeries in caravan parks, village halls and even pubs, will be at Arthington village hall on 11th September from 6pm and 7pm and at Holy Trinity Church in Cookridge next Wednesday (3rd September) also between 6 and 7. Greg will also be conducting a street surgery (where he goes house to house) in Carlton between 6 and 7.30.
Greg said "I want to be as accessible an MP and reach out to as many people as possible. I have already helped several thousand people with their problems but I want to do more.
Special surgeries, such as this one, allow me to take surgeries to the heart of local communities. They are particularly useful to people who would not usually go to, or are unable to get to one of my regular surgeries.
So I would urge local residents to come along if there are any problems or issue I can be of assistance with or simply want to let me know their views."
