Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West today paid a visit to the Leeds Brewery in the city centre and hailed their success. The Brewery is the brainchild of entrepreneurs Michael Brothwell and Sam Moss and opened just over a year ago and is going from strength to strength.
The Brewery is rapidly gaining a reputation for the quality of their award winning product. Leeds Best, Leeds Pale and Midnight Bell are now regular features across Yorkshire and beyond. 2008 has seen the introduction of an existing range of monthly seasonal including a traditional stout and IPA.
Greg was taken on a tour of the brewery and met Venkatesh Iyer the Head Brewer and Jade Hutchinson the Bar tender. Greg said "It's great the Leeds Brewery is putting Leeds on the Brewing Map. They have already developed a very strong reputation I would certainly recommend people to try their beers. It was great to take the tour and meet those involved in this success story. The set up is fantastic and I can only see the Brewery continuing to be a success."
