LOCAL MP PRESENTS AWARDS AT COOKRIDGE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

Greg Mulholland, MP for Leeds North West, presented awards at Cookridge Horticultural Society's 65th Annual Show on Saturday (13th September). Prizes were awarded for each of the horticultural classifications at this year's show.

Commenting after the event, Mr. Mulholland said:

"I was delighted to have been asked to present the awards at this year's show. The event is not only a great day out for the family but also a great celebration of local produce. It showcases what the area has to offer and I really hope it continues for the next 65 years and beyond"
