LOCAL MP MEETS WITH YEADON AIR CADETS ON ARMISTICE DAY

November 11, 2008 5:00 PM

Greg and Yeadon Air Cadets at the Cenotaph on WhitehallLocal MP Greg Mulholland met with members of Yeadon Air Cadets today as they came down to Parliament to meet with Baroness Gibson of Market Rasen, and to pay their respects at the Cenotaph on Whitehall on Armistice Day.

Greg, who also met the Cadets on Sunday on Remembrance Day in Otley, commented:

"I was very pleased to meet with the Cadets, and to go with them to pay our respects at the Cenotaph at this historic moment.

"It is very encouraging to see young people recognising the sacrifice that previous generations have made, particularly on a day which saw the three of the four surviving First World War Veterans marking the 90th Anniversary of the conflict."

If you are a resident of the Leeds North West constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
