MULHOLLAND HAILS "FANTASTIC" SCIENCE FESTIVAL

Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West was delighted to help to open the Otley Science Festival. The festival which will host in the coming days a free family science fayre and a science cafe aims to get local residents interested about science.

Greg said "The science festival is a really great idea and is good for Otley. It's really important we get children interested in science and the festival is a fun and exciting way of doing this."

"It was really interesting to see the exhibits last night, which are fantastic. The organisers have done a great job and deserve to be applauded for all their hard work.

The festival is a very welcome addition to Otley's winter calendar and I'm sure will be a success for many years to come."
