Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West is embracing the Facebook revolution!
Greg has an account on the social networking site, which he hopes will enable him to be more accessible to residents. Other Facebook users can let him know of any problems or issues that he can help them with, and he will also add details of his campaigns on his profile.
Greg said: "I promised when I was elected that I would strive to be as accessible to local residents as possible. To try and achieve this I hold at least seven regular monthly surgeries. I also keep in touch with regular newsletters and an annual report. But I know many students like to use Facebook and it is a much more convenient way for many local students of getting in touch."
Greg's constituency includes the north end of Hyde Park, Headingley and Boddington, Oxley, Lupton, James Baillie, Devonshire student halls. Greg said "It's really important to me that students let me know their views so I can better represent their views in Parliament. Further, I hope Facebook will enable more students to contact me if they have an issue or a problem that I can help them with."
