SHADOW HEALTH SECRETARY VISITS WHARFEDALE HOSPITAL

Greg Mulholland, MP for Leeds North West and Norman Lamb MP, the Shadow Lib Dem Health Secretary visited the Wharfedale Hospital. Greg introduced Norman Lamb to members of staff and they took a tour of the hospital.

Greg has led the campaign to support the hospital and he invited Norman to come and visit to find out more about the hospital. Norman also met the staff to find out about the challenges facing them in providing services to the local community.

Norman Lamb said:

"It was really inspiring to meet the team at Wharfedale Hospital and to hear from them firsthand how they deliver health care for the local community."

Greg added:

"I was delighted to show Norman around Wharfedale Hospital. Real progress has been made recently in improving the range of services available to local people. I also pay tribute to Matron Zoe Kirk and her team for the fantastic job they are doing in delivering high quality care for the community."
