MULHOLLAND SHOWS HIS SUPPORT FOR WOODLAND TRUST CHRISTMAS CARD RECYCLING SCHEME

Greg Mulholland, MP for Leeds North West today visited the Tesco Express store on Green lane in Cookridge to show his support for the Woodland Trust Christmas Card Recycling Scheme.

The scheme allows people to drop off their old Christmas cards to be recycled at WHSmith, Tesco, TK Maxx and Marks & Spencers' stores.

Greg said:

"I'm really pleased to support the Woodland Trust Christmas Card recycling scheme and I'm really pleased local stores such as the Tesco on Green Lane have got involved.

I think it is a great idea which hopefully will encourage more people to recycle and at the same time raise money for the Woodland Trust."
