Linda Bradley added; "It's a great honour to be elected to the Town Council and I am determined to repay the trust that the voters of West Chevin have placed in me."
The Town Councils leader, Jim Spencer, welcomed both David and Linda to the Town Council;
"I am very pleased that David and Linda have been elected. I know they will be excellent additions to the Town Council and serve Otley well."
Local Lib Dem MP, Greg Mulholland added:
"This is a great result and it's great to see the real progress the Town Council has made since the Lib Dems took control in 2007 been recognised. It was great to see the people of Otley reject Labour's negative and nasty campaign."
