Greg Mulholland invited Gordon Brown to visit Chevin Forest park.
As part of Liberal Democrat efforts to promote National Tourism Week, Greg Mulholland, MP for Leeds North West pressed Gordon Brown to support local tourism across the UK. Mr Mulholland presented Gordon Brown with a postcard of Chevin Forest Park which is situated in the Leeds North West Constituency.
Greg said:

The Government must invest in our tourist industry. However, funding for "Visit Britain" the body responsible for marketing the UK as a tourist destination, has been drastically cut in recent years"
"Whilst I can promote places in my own constituency, it takes increased government support to do it for the whole country."
Greg invited Gordon Brown to visit Chevin Forest park, highlighting its beautiful scenery.
