Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West was delighted to be at the opening of the new play area at the First Steps Nursery at Bramhope Primary School.

Greg was accompanied by his daughter Isabel who goes to the nursery.
Greg said:
"It was excellent to go along as both the local MP and also as a parent to the opening."
Provided at the play area is a new tyre swing, a soft play area, a climbing frame a sand tray. There are also areas for water play and a quiet canopied area for reading, new toys have also been provided such as trikes and bikes.
Councillor Richard Harker, Leeds City Council Executive Member for Learning said:
"It is fantastic to see Sure Start funds being used so creatively. First Steps have made a brilliant outdoor play area with opportunities for learning and fun for all their children."
Greg added:
"The new play area is fantastic and I'm sure the kids will really enjoy it. The design shows real vision and I'm full of praise for Sure Start for providing this new facility."
