Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West commented, after attending the Otley Town Carnival on Saturday, 20 June, that he was very impressed with all the hard work the carnival committee put into the event this year, as they have also done in past years.
To mark its 26th anniversary, the carnival brought in great attractions like the 108-year-old steamroller as well as a colourful parade of decorative floats created by Otley schools and charities.
Greg said;
''I was very happy to attend the carnival again this year and was relieved the weather was fine as the event was a great success. It was a wonderful day and celebration for Otley.''
