MULHOLLAND JOINS WALKERS FOR END OF OTLEY FESTIVAL

Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West joined dozens of walking fans for the culmination of Otley Walking Festival. This year's festival featured the annual events largest programme of walks and activities spread over a week.

Greg commented;

"It is a real delight for this festival to be held in Otley which is surrounded by beautiful walks and countryside. Walking in it is very rewarding and the terrain actually provides an ideal training ground for longer distance walks as I found out myself when I was preparing to do the 'Wessex 100' event which I walked as part of my charity fundraising 126 Mile Challenge.

Every year the organizers of the Otley Walking Festival do a wonderful job of planning a wide variety of activities and walks in the area and this year they have put together their biggest programme yet. I hope everybody who attends had a wonderful time and enjoys the walks as much as I did."
