MULHOLLAND HAILS SPITE INN OPENING AS A BIG SUCCESS

Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West hailed the official re-opening of the Spite Inn, which is just outside Otley, a huge success.
Greg enjoyed a pint with the landlady Anushka Kollerman before declaring the pub officially open.
Anushka Kollerman said:
"I want the pub to thrive and grow and be wonderful. I would like to say a big thank you to the locals for their continued support and the staff for their hard work."
Greg said:
"I'm really grateful to have been asked to open the pub. The Spite has got a great selection of beers and also has excellent food so I certainly would recommend it to local people."
With the current economic climate and competition from supermarkets, it's really important that we support pubs such as the Spite." Therefore it is great to see the Spite re-opened and I'm sure Anushka will make a huge success of it for many years to come.
Anushka hopes that the pub strongest selling points will be its new menu. She added: "I have travelled all over the world and this has inspired the menu. We have an excellent chef and all the food is home cooked and the ingredients are produced locally."
