Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West has urged police every success in their hunt for recently murdered student Joseph Cook's killers.
Greg welcomed the assurances given to him by West Yorkshire police that all available officers and resources are being deployed to assist in the investigation and to provide a presence in the area, and the support of Leeds Metropolitan University.
Commenting Greg said:
"I am glad that the police are dedicating their resources to finding Joseph's killers, and I wish them every success.
"This is a time to stress the need for partnership between the university and the police. I welcome the terrific work done by the University Crime Reduction Partnership to support student safety, and this murder demonstrates the importance of the community pulling together to help to prevent a repeat of the tragic murder of students like Joseph."
