Greg Mulholland, MP for Leeds North West rolled up his sleeves yesterday to host a coffee morning at the ABC Café in Holt Park as part of the worlds biggest coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Greg was taking part in the "Feel Good, Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning" which involved thousands of people up and down the country either hosting or attending coffee mornings to raise money for Macmillan cancer support.
Commenting Greg Said:
"Having the opportunity to serve tea and coffee to constituents made a nice change to my busy work as an MP
"It's fantastic that we managed to raise £130 for such a great cause in Macmillan Cancer Support
"And I'm delighted to have helped in this years Macmillan Cancer Support 'Feel good, Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning'"
Rosemary Jevons who works at the café added:
"Today was a brilliant joint effort by all the ABC Coffee Shop staff and it was great to see Greg get an apron on and get behind the counter and help out.
"We were all so pleased to see so many people coming through the doors to support the coffee morning and a great cause".
