Mulholland welcomes the publication of MPs expenses

Greg Mulholland, Member of Parliament for Leeds North West has welcomed the publication of Members expenses this morning.

Greg is well known as a keen advocate of reform to the expenses system and has spoken out in Parliament demanding the Government take steps to sack Ministers found guilty of wrong doing and criticising the lamentable lack of urgency surrounding the Government's efforts to reform the system.

Commenting, Greg said:

"I am glad these details have now been published and I hope that we can look forward to greater transparency in the expenses system in future.

"I am sure many people like me are frustrated that the recommendations in the Kelly report have not yet been implemented.

"People are still angry about the expenses scandal and until we have a complete route and branch change to the system they have every right to be."
