Mulholland writes to Council over concerns over A660 safety

Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West, has written to Leeds City Council to express his concerns over the safety of Otley Road following two accidents within hours of each other on the same stretch of the road last weekend.

Commented, Greg said:

"The first and most important thing to say when something like this happens is that our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved, we wish them a speedy recovery.

"Secondly I want to commend those members of the emergency services who handled the situation professionally even in difficult conditions.

"Incidents like these are certain to cause a great deal of concern amongst residents and I have written to the Highways department to express these concerns and ask that they look into what can be done to make this stretch of road safer."
