Local MP Visits Sorting Office and Lends a Hand

Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West took the opportunity on Friday to visit Ireland Wood Royal Mail Sorting Office to see how staff were handling this busy time of year.

Greg has seized the opportunity to visit the sorting office each year recently to lend moral support to those who ensure our Christmas card arrive on time.

Commenting, Greg said:

"It is easy to get carried away at this time of year and forget all the really hard work that people like the staff at Ireland Wood Sorting office have to do to ensure that all our Christmases run smoothly.

"You really can't over-estimate how hard these guys work, it's really impressive!"

"I want to give a big personal thanks to all the staff here and their colleagues up and down the country for making sure that all the cards and parcels I have sent have arrived in time."
