Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West has welcomed the news that at yesterday's Executive Board meeting at Leeds City Council the decision was taken to postpone a decision over the Royal Park school.
Commenting, Greg said;
"I am delighted that the decision was taken to give the local community and the Royal Park Consortium more time to finalise their own plans for the future of the school.
"It is vital that the voice of the community is heard on the issue of the school's future, we now have an opportunity to make sure that the school is brought back into use as a vital community asset."
