Leeds Closer to Getting Arena it Needs - Mulholland

Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West has reacted to the news that outline planning permission has been granted for the Leeds Arena.

Greg, who had worked closely with the Yorkshire Evening Post on the "Leeds Needs an Arena" campaign has expressed his pleasure at this latest development.

Greg Commented:

"The Yorkshire Evening Post has worked hard along side several people including myself to secure the funding for the arena and for all those of us involved this announcement will be very welcome.

"The arena is going to bring jobs and opportunities to the city as well as providing us with a world class concert venue.

"We must now work hard to ensure that construction begins quickly and the people of Leeds are given the opportunity to visit the arena as soon as possible."
