Greg Mulholland was re-elected as Member of Parliament for Leeds North West on May 6th with an increased majority of 9,103.
Greg had been defending the seat with a comparatively slender 1,877 majority which he had since snatching the seat by surprise in 2005.
Commenting after the win Greg said:
"This is a great result and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Leeds North West for turning out in such numbers and giving me the opportunity to return to parliament and to continue to represent our area.
"I look forward to continuing to fight for a better deal for our area both nationally and locally and to continue to be as accessible an MP as I can possibly be for local people."
