Mulholland Keeps Pressing for High Speed to Yorkshire

Greg Mulholland, MP for Leeds North West and co-campaigner with the Yorkshire post for a High Speed Rail Link to Yorkshire took the opportunity during a debate in Parliament yesterday to again press the importance of a High Speed Rail link to Yorkshire.

Greg has been a longstanding advocate of a High Speed Network that prioritised cities in Yorkshire in equal measure to their counterparts on the western side of the country.

Commenting Greg Said:

"High Speed Rail is a vital step in improving the economies of the North.

"This is why any plans for a High Speed Rail network must be based on servicing the areas that would benefit the most economically from the introduction of High Speed Rail.

"I will continue to lobby the Government, as I did the last one, on the importance of Yorkshire getting a fair deal from High Speed Rail."
