Greg Mulholland MP nominated to serve on the Public Administration Select Committee

Greg Mulholland MP for Leeds North West has today expressed his pride at being nominated by his party to serve on the Public Administration select Committee.

The committee exists to scrutinise the work of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman as well as the civil service and to ensure the public interest is being served.

Commenting Greg said:

"In the current climate it is very important that we do all we can to ensure that the public interest is being served at every level of Government.

"It is a great privilege to serve on a select committee and I look forward to examining the reports of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman as well as the quality and standards of administration provided by the civil service departments."
