Carlton Charity Fun Day a ‘great success’ - Mulholland

Local MP, Greg Mulholland, this weekend went along to the Carlton Kennels Charity Fun Day, which was supporting the Hounds for Heroes charity, a charity raising funds to train puppies to help disabled service men and women.

The fun day, which takes place every year, has plenty of entertainment for all the family, with a companion dog show, fancy dress, birds of prey, goats, a dog scurry, stalls and refreshments, including a BBQ and bar, as well as a Tombola and Raffle.

Greg commented:

"As always the Carlton Kennels Charity fun day was a great success and a great day out for the family.

"It was a shame that the weather didn't hold out, but the rain showers certainly didn't dampen the spirits of all those that attended. All credit to the organisers who, as always, did a great job in ensuring the event went ahead and everything ran smoothly"
