Extend the Winter Fuel Payment

Greg Mulholland MP heard the concerns of Karen Pinder who cares for her son Matthew with no Government assistance paying her heating bills.

Liberal Democrat Older Peoples' Health Spokesperson Greg Mulholland MP is fighting to have the Winter Fuel Allowance extended to severely disabled people.

Greg heard from constituent Karen Pinder who cares for her son Matthew and yet despite his condition making him particularly susceptible to the cold they don't qualify for any extra help with their heating.

Greg has raised this issue in Parliament calling for the Government to extend the Allowance to people like Karen who are not getting the assistance they need.
